Don was born and raised in Ogdensburg,
N. Y. , moving to Dover Plains,
N.Y. in his senior year of HS. After working for a year in a gas
station, dept.
store, and handbag factory, he knew he needed a better education. He was
accepted at the Coast Guard Academy and graduated in 1955, after 4 hard
years. Then the ocean-station vessel, the USCGC UNIMAK transferred from
Boston to Cape May, N.J. and Don met and fell in love with Rita and his life
got
better. Then he met Jesus in 1971 and everything changed for the best!.

February 2005 - The Canadian Invasion! We were delighted that Gary (my
Cousin) (see his "milking school", above) & wife, Mary,
and Glen & Iris Cunningham (my Aunt & Uncle) visited us in Florida. John &
Marilyn accompanied them as they stayed at Dennis's. It was a great visit! Pictures, below, including Amy & Amanda,
and friends Eddie & Kim & babies (they came over to Sarasota to avoid a hurricane).
