On 5-8 April 2007, Rita & I were honored in a celebration at Dennis's home of our 50th wedding anniversary. Our three terrific Sons - Don, Dave, and Dennis - worked together to make it an exciting, memorable celebration. Den was the perfect Host and worked hard with boat rides, food, etc....Thanks, Den. Thanks, Dave & Don, Karen & Colleen. Don & His family flew and Dave & His family drove 14 hours. Early on, we had decided the focus would be on our immediate family, creating as much a family reunion as an anniversary. It worked out very well. We were thrilled to spend time with our Sons, and their Wives, Colleen and Karen, and our ten Grandchildren - Sean, Ryan, and Grace / Josh, Nate, Jake, Meg, and Asher / Amy and Amanda. How very proud Rita & I are of the wonderful family The Lord has given us. We pray daily they'll grow up in a way pleasing to Him. We were pleased that my wonderful Sister, Marilyn White, and her Husband, John, drove in. Dick & Helen Akridge came over from Tampa; Dick is a retired USCG Captain and our paths have crossed often in the CG. Old friends, Dave & Connie Marcus came in from Sarasota. Dave Williams, a family friend of long standing also joined us. Here are some of the pictures:

It was so wonderful being with our Family & friends. We wrapped it up Easter Sunday morning with worship service at Den's Church. All Praise & Glory to our God & Lord.
