This is the Cunningham farmhouse in Aultsville, Ont. where Don spent many a happy day while off school in the summers. We visit the Cunningham family gravesite in Aultsville, Canada, w/Uncle Glen.

The Hoople Ancestry

Mary Cunningham (nee Gallinger), Don's Grandmother, was a direct descendant of German Henry Hoople. Michael Hoople migrated from Germany in the early 1700's and settled in upstate New York. During the Revolution, some Hooples remained Loyalists and fled to Canada, while others fought as "rebels". Life on the frontier was rough!

Modern Cunningham Relatives

We are so blessed with our wonderful relatives in Canada. Glen & Iris are very active in the community, raising greenhouse flowers, yes - even bottling wine! PTL!

Bert (Uncle Glen's Son) was honored as Mauritius "Man of the Year" for his work with their customs services.
